Domestic Violence Counseling in Avondale and Phoenix

Support that follows your choices and puts your safety first.

Your Safety, Your Choices

Abuse is the responsibility of the person doing it, never the person it's done to. Our support follows your choices and your safety. It can include a private place to talk, a safety plan, and referrals to other help, with your consent.

Support centers safety, respect and confidentiality within legal and clinical limits.

Closing this page doesn't erase your browsing history, so if someone may check your device, a private window is safer.

If home isn't private, or someone may be monitoring your phone or computer, meeting at one of our offices may be safer than telehealth.

Abuse Can Take Many Forms

Domestic violence isn't only physical. It can include:

  • Hitting, pushing, choking or threats of harm
  • Controlling who you see, where you go or what you spend
  • Constant criticism, humiliation or intimidation
  • Pressure or force around sex
  • Stalking, or monitoring your phone and accounts

Common Questions

Is what I share confidential?

Support centers safety, respect and confidentiality within legal and clinical limits. Your clinician will explain those limits clearly at the start.

Do I have to leave the relationship to get support?

No. Support is guided by your choices and your safety, wherever you are right now.

Can my children get support too?

Yes. We work with children and teens, including after violence at home, and caregivers are included when clinically appropriate.
